Spooky Cats is a newly established 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue organization in Los Angeles. Our mission is to rescue negatively stigmatized cats through adoptions, fosters, sanctuary and socialization. We are women and LGBTQIA+-owned.

We are planning on opening a permanent location in Los Angeles that will serve as an adoption center and cafe. People who want to come and hang out in a fun, Halloween-themed environment with some adoptable rescue cats will be welcome year round.

Whether they decide to adopt or are just there to socialize, it will benefit our kitties and help their well-being and overall mood.

We will be partnering with local rescues to make sure our cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and given other necessary medical care. 

The founder and current board members all have more than ten years experience in various positions in the animal rescue field and continue to work for or volunteer with rescues and veterinary organizations.
